The thrill of Las Vegas is to win. Whether it's at the tables, the sportsbook or the slots. On Day 2, I decided to show my buddies some cheap eats at Hotel California in the old downtown of Vegas - the Fremont area. While waiting for the 11pm start for $4.00 steak sandwiches, I decided to play some slots. After about $20, I hit a small jackpot. I love the ding-ding-ding of a winning slots play, where all of a sudden, the curious gather to watch. After the hubbub had died down. I took out my Flip Video camcorder and shot a few seconds worth of footage. I don't think it's allowed but there you have it. The big thrill of winning your trip back and the cheap thrill of doing something relatively subversive.
